“People with autism are more than just a diagnosis. They are unique individuals with diverse personalities.”

Adults With Autism.org.uk is keen to hear about your experiences of dating and relationships. Have you found it difficult as an autistic person to find a girlfriend or boyfriend?

Have you used any of the online dating websites for people with autism, did it work for you? If not, how did you meet your partner and find love?

Do you have any tips on how people with autism can find that “special” person and enjoy a long and loving relationship.

Do you prefer dating someone who is not on the spectrum?

How do you feel about marriage and having children? Does this sound like a scary prospect!?

Please send your stories (anonymously if you prefer) to :steve@adultswithautism.org.uk

Or tell us about your thoughts of dating on the spectrum in the comments box below.

Many thanks

Steve

  1. Such websites have not done anything for me. They just leave me frustrated. I ought to know, had had relationships with three spectrum females, nearly married the first one. Why do so many ASD folk still pursue it? My hope has run out! That’s all I’ve got to say, feeling overloaded to answer this further.
