Does this help? People don’t get enough magnesium from food like quinoa. You can simply measure a 1/4 cup into your Hamburger Helper and bring it to a boil and simmer as usual. The magnesium helps to relax our mind and muscles. As far as I know, sugar replaces magnesium in our self and ends up stressing people to tears, possibly.
Aggressive and unfriendly behaviour can be received by others. Hopefully, the person can manage to not take it personally. Otherwise, feelings of sadness might be the result. Stop and think about how your words and actions affect others. Treat other people the way you would like to be treated. Unfortunately, time eventually goes on all of us. Your turn will come when you are an aged number. As age increases, health problems can also increase and that can affect your ability. Funny, eh, how that works. Imagine. I was on Prozac thirty years ago. It is mostly a fluoride pill. The psychriatric nurse would ask me how I was doing. I would say that I was not doing very well. Increased over time and the more I took the less I knew. oops. My Mother saved my life by letting me know I should go off of the pills after four years and higher amounts. If it can happen to me it can happen to anyone. Pills get increased. The basal ganglia needs dopamine for proper movement. I learned that on the computer. When serotonin is increased the dopamine level drops. Movement disorder results. oops. I once read that you need less Prozac since it metabolizes slower in the body. The pills attack your brain cells, thyroid cells, and liver. It is helpful to have a short term memory but it won’t work properly if you take pills. Learn? Conversation? Remember? oops
Neuroleptic, Neuroleptic, on the wall, who is the most brain damaged of them all …. When the serotonin is raised by drug chemicals, the dopamine is lowered and that causes a movement disorder/cervical dystonia. THE DRUGS WIN AND THE PEOPLE LOSE. One form of negative attention is being gossiped about. Back in the day, I do remember Hazel Erskine coming over to my place after I had been to the United Church sale. She wanted all my purchased items from the sale and brought them back home with her. She was very outgoing and had never been on drugs and worked full-time. I am hesitant to talk to people, have been on Doc’s drugs, and have not worked full-time. People can not think much of you if you are not employed, don’t drive, etc. I think people who are gossiping don’t see the end of their life coming up soon and are in trouble free health. I have neck tremors etc. I am way too quiet and don’t have the gift of gab but if people talking are defaming others, is that really worth their time and did they really enjoy it or are they the type to do onto others as they would want to be treated themselves. We don’t have social powers here and I don’t feel bonding with others. Are the drugs going to end the life of my family member since too afraid to go off of the drugs. People end up not feeling well on the Doc’s drugs here, anyway. Bloom where you are planted. Are you emotionally generous and generally don’t make others sound bad? We all have positives. How are you?
This was on page 14 a long time ago. “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” … The progress of the river to the ocean is not so rapid as that of man to error. … I did not want another dog. I am really uncomfortable being with a dog outside. Yesterday, my heart was pounding and I changed my route since I saw two dogs loose up ahead. Be careful what you wish for since it may come true. Bloom where you are planted? If it is not the bay that people are drowning in then it is the mountain that they are climbing and struggling in the storm that suddenly came up. I hope your frustration and upset level is not high as mine. I really don’t matter. It is my Son’s birthday today. Bye Steve and I hope you have a nice Valentine’s Day with your Wife and Family. Nutrients from food help build every cell in your body. There are six types of nutrients. They are proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and water. Macronutrients are protein, fat, carbohydrates and water. Macro means big. Vitamins and minerals are micronutrients. Micro means small. Energy is measured in units called calories. Energy comes from fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. Fats help cell membranes stay strong, keep the brain, eyes, and nerves working properly, cushion organs to keep them safe, and helps the body stay warm. Unsaturated fats are found in seafood, plants, fish, nuts, seeds, avocados, and olive oil. Saturated fats are in meat and dairy. Trans fats are made by changing liquid oils into solid fats and are found in margarine, crackers, and some fried food. If the body does not have enough fats or carbohydrates, it will use protein for energy. Meat, fish, eggs, nuts, legumes, and dairy helps to build body tissues and is protein. Protein is digested into small pieces called amino acids. The body uses the 20 different amino acids to make different types of protein. There are simple and complex carbohydrates. Simple carbohydrates are sugars. Complex carbohydrates are called starches. Vita means life. There are fat soluble and water soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins are A, D, E, and K. These four vitamins need fats from food to be absorbed. Vitamin C and all of the B vitamins are water soluble. There are eight different B vitamins. Most of the B vitamins help the body get energy from food. The mineral, iron, carries oxygen from the lungs to each cell in the body. Sodium and potassium work hand-in-hand to keep body fluids in balance. A nutrient-dense food has protein, carbohydrates, or healthy fats. It also may have vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Blueberries are a nutrient-dense food, full of vitamin K and fiber. Fruits and vegetables are nutrient-dense food. Milk is a nutrient-dense drink. Fiber and most of the vitamins and minerals are found in the flesh and skin of fruits. Fruits and dairy products contain natural sugar and are nutritious. Trans fats are harmful to the body and are in baked goods, fried food, snack food, margarine and ready-to-use frosting .Making unhealthy food choices over and over can lead to health problems.

I hurt my right arm sawing, Steve. I better not do that again. This is from the book since I am in a lot of pain. Cut out caffeine. Caffeine lowers levels of endorphins and raises levels of epinephrine, a compound that can make your muscle nerves more sensitive to pain. Caffeine flushes calcium out of your body, lowering the mineral content of your bones and making them more prone to microfractures. These tiny breaks in your vertebra over time, can cause a big pain in your back. The books says that caffeine helps some people deal with pain. That is why it is an ingredient in many over-the-counter pain relievers. I can’t even raise my arm. omg Pain is very tiring.
Eating a lot of red meat could substantially increase your chances of developing diverticulitis, a painful bowel condition, according to study results. Diverticulitis, which occurs when small, abnormal pouches that form in the lining of the large bowel become inflamed or infected. There was no relationship between incidents of diverticulitis and high consumption of poultry or fish.

Did I know a better behaviour …. choice? Maybe the older Gentleman was correct and I am incorrect or simply on the fence, I was informed years back by an old woman that they all bring their yard work to the railway track. That was when I lived on the other side of the highway. The Gentleman told me that you put the yard work in bag and they pick it up every two weeks. He mentioned that it gets composted afterwards. The years have passed on me and I lost my garbage pail while trying to dump the damp leave up and over the fence onto railway property. He told me the Military won’t like it that I am putting leaves on their property. (We appreciate the Military and your extreme help to this world). The Wild Rose can be seen every June on railway property. The older we get the more overwhelming the collecting leaves job can seem. The North West wind does seem to really give us a generous donation of yellow leaves (Norwegian? or Silver?) Maple. I am finished for this year doing leaves. Next year is a long way off. The conversation did not turn aggressive. The Gentleman did sound annoyed and the words seemed forced. There can be unique and different ways of doing things. My Son got my pail for me and I decided I was not able to do the leaf job at all. Then I realized I could walk through the fence to the other side and bring my stuffed pail with me. I wish I was intellectual. Did you know that you can marsvenus.com and click on books. John Gray tries to explain so well. I hope everyone has a nice enough day. Are you too sensitive? Do you worry too much? Can you stay calm around people? Eat raw vegetables and fruit. Sugar is a high stress food that lowers dopamine.
I am happy with all my neighbours. This is one familiar village. Born in 1962. Moved here in 1992. Living here still in 2022. That math is not too complicated for me. You are free to choose yourself. I choose to give a Christmas card and recipe to the section of my former paper route where a business woman very generously gave me a cosmetic catalogue religiously every month since 2005. I always hoped my dishes were already done since I found this catalogue extremely interesting. I choose to only copy this recipe out ten times. 1/4 cup margarine melted. 1/3 cup flour. Add to the margarine and stir for 1 – 2 minutes. (roux). Tomato juice drained from a 28 ounce of tomatoes. Also add enough milk to make two cups. Add to roux with tomatoes. Dice cheese into sauce when hot enough to melt cheese. Add salt and pepper and spices of choice. Add to macaroni (cooked). I have bought lotto for neighbours in this section of the neighbourhood before (people forget, including me. I must have given to the entire paper route). and when I worked at the retirement home in the kitchen. I was just looking for something to do. I wouldn’t know the future but I might not be back to that section if that Family moves away. I don’t have friends, I have autism. I just heard on the news last evening that the front part of the brain solves problems, memory is there also, and it processes emotions. If you live beside me, across from me, on a diagonal or two doors down or more, I am happy with you and hold no blame and resentment. My Husband took care of the half snake for me this summer. It is down the sewer with the one envelope that I lost, I imagine. I am happy for you if you won at the lotto. The ingredients are: two cups of macaroni. 28 ounce tin tomatoes. Half package sliced cheese. I will recopy that in the card at Christmas for the ten houses. Thank you and enjoy now.
Maltese dogs originally came from the largest island in the Sea (near Steve). I do understand that the Medical Profession managed to get where they are today by partly being able to remain calm. My dog shivered on the end of her leash for the entire Winter season. Her heart started to give way and she would collapse but manage to come back to life in March. I was very stressed by her illness. I was really not much help to my dog at the end of her life. Maybe if I was a Medical Professional things would have gone better. The Vet will tell you that the animal will not feel a thing when they are about to be put to sleep. Decades back, apparently, dog used to be electracuted. It was the Mediterrain Sea but I do not know how to spell that either. On Friday, May 6, 2022 at 159 Mill Street, my dog smelled the Vet’s place in the shaded back parking lot. She collapsed and groaned. Her leg/paw was ready for introvenous work. When she saw Adam she stood and cried for him. After eleven years, there was a bond/communication between them. We got our dog when she was four. They give the dog a relaxant and that can be enough to put them down for good. When Adam opened the door, that was the signal to start the process. She immediately was forced by the drug to lay down quickly. The Barbituate stops the heart. I googled all this afterwards. I did not know the process. I was afraid. I can blame myself for the part I took. I was not able to be calm and my Husband and Son were travelling to British Columbia on May 22, 2022. This was all a not very nice memory. I was afraid she was going to die when they were away. I hope the Medical Profession can understand that it is not them I do not like but their drugs. I am not really welcome in the one drug store in town where they took things personally. Yes, we all do want to be seen as good.

you tube Patricia Green & Carolyn Hemming …. Superfood for Super Babies … The ancient Incas called quinoa “the mother grain” for a reason. This whole food was thought to promote healthy pregnancy, contribute to a healthy baby and enhance a mother’s milk. Quinoa is rich in the amino acid histadine, which cannot be formed by combinations of nutrients and instead must be provided directly in the diet. Histadine is considered an essential amino acid in children because it is necessary for human development. The perfect profile of quinoa’s nutrients is ideal for providing a great start to children. Quinoa offers abundant protein that is easily digestible. It is almost always organic and full of fiber, iron and calcium, which are three key components for baby nutrition. Quinoa is a great alternative to traditional “first” foods that have inferior nutrient value, such as rice. The increasing incidence of allergies to dairy and wheat can be safely avoided with the choice of quinoa.
Quinoa does not belong to the same plant family as wheat and does not contain gluten. Quinoa, while not technically a grain, is similar to whole grains, which have been demonstrated to reduce high blood pressure and prevent heart failure because they slow the speed of arterial plaque and may help to remove buildup of plaque in the arteries. Quinoa is also rich in magnesium, which helps to reduce high blood pressure because it allows the blood vessels to relax. Phytonutrients are present in whole foods such as quinoa and are thought to be responsible for protection against a variety of illnesses. Even beyond heart health, consumption of whole grains has been linked to a decreased risk of breast cancer, prevention of gallstones and a lower risk of type 2 diabetes. Quinoa’s high manganese and copper content gives it antioxidant power to promote the elimination of toxins and free radicals that may cause disease. It is also abundant in linolenic acid, the essential fatty acid that has proven beneficial to immune response. Patricia and Carolyn.com
My Mother-In-Law knew to be secretive. She happens to be a smarter and much calmer person than myself. At one time I ran from her and this marriage. I did not feel accepted my her. I really did have a lot of problems. I came to the conclusion that I am not marriage material because I am way too sensitive. I can only be thankful for my Husband today here and now. I would like to think he is a walking on sunshine person but … if people only have an animal for a best friend, I feel sorry for them. Maybe friends can be over-rated and fickle. Tensions? Misunderstandings? Competition? Distrust? What are the vibes I am giving off, Steve? So I do have unanswered problems and people are not as bad as I make them sound. 200 mg of Zoloft is what my son is swallowing each and every day. Did I eat quinoa, 2 apples a day, and ready-to-eat sardines and other healthy food while pregnant? I did not know you can give your kids Autism by not eating healthy enough while pregnant. We can not change yesterday. We can only try here and now to do our best. I also had my kids when I was 34 and 36 years old. We know what we know and I was not a reader. Good luck with your kids. It can feel like rocket science having kids and bye, Steve. I will go eat quinoa now. Remember to: 1/4 cup quinoa and oatmeal in a heaping 2 cups of water and boil it, please. Then turn to simmer for 18 minutes and stir often. You can add garlic … raisins or whatever you think will help to make serotonin in your intestines and stomach.
Steve, I have some guilt to deal with myself. If I only talk about myself, that can be safe territory. People sometimes accuse people of only talking about self and think it is selfish and self-centered. In my opinion, you are good and right to not inform people of another and only tell them your own personal news. I heard somewhere that we create our own daily life by our words/actions from before and what we say can influence how others feel about us. We should only talk about good behaviour choices. Maybe we will get accused of thinking we are not humble. I am guilty of being a gossip and contributing to gossip. Maybe we feel we are so bored and need to spark some life into the conversation by talking about another’s bad behaviour choice. I think I was just glad someone was just talking to me at all. I do not have practice being around people. I don’t blame myself anymore for being uncomfortable and uneasy around people. I am certainly not taking drugs to help me feel more at ease around people. Be determined to be yourself and trust the Higher Power. I know success can draw attention. I am sure I do not have whatever it takes to want people to be around me. People can be fussy. People can be tired and busy and looking for people who resemble themself. Anyway,I am sorry to my Mother-In-Law? …. who acted like HER family was good and anyone who married THEM where bad … did I say I was mature now? … did I just say I should only talk about myself and my superior behaviour choices? I am truly sorry to my Husband for just informing people about him and talking about him and really not knowing much … the computer is potentially dangerous where people can lead you down an illegal path …. does the corner store still have naked pictures? … why join a nudist camp when we need to take cover and learn in private … as well as cover our appearance flaws with at least clothing. Thank you, Steve and bye for now…..Happy Holidays?
Andrew’s brain did a lot for him. I was nice to him and he was a neighbour. Our backyards touched because I lived just around the corner from him on Sydenham Street. One of his many degrees at university was psychology. I do not do that kind of rocket science. Please explain why an individual is mean and against another and they were never mean to them. Andrew is mean to me since he spreads gossip about me. My neighbour next to me and his bonded friend on a diagnal (Steve, I don’t seem to know how to spell it) were mean to me and I was never mean to them. I tried to help my neighbours by delivering the newspaper and doing yard work but I know we can do service and give them gifts and that might just not matter. Love is patient and kind etc. My Husband and I have lived in Angus since 1992 and we do not rent the house that we live in … yet. I need Andrew to take me to Columbia, Maryland. absimsdds.com I need help with the movement disorder/cervical dystonia/brain damage that is very terrible to live with since … I sure do wish I could dance instead of have this condition. Dance is not your favourite activity, Steve. I actually need Andrew’s help because I seem to think I can not travel alone to Maryland to the Doctor Anthony Sims. … instead of spreading gossip about me, Andrew. I was so helpful and good to him but he is still bitter about his wife leaving him unattended and alone to unfortunately drown in root beer bubbles. That restaurant that is so popular and is doing better and better gets my business since everyone is drawn to them like a magnet just because of their advertising. A&W. We need to be walking/talking advertisements about ourselves. Words can be powerful? useless? Actions speak louder than words.? I know that I do not understand how it works socially and that is why I will not understand how people can spread gossip and be mean when I was not mean to them. … yet another wonder of this world with Mother Nature and the Higher Power ruling since they will get their way with us whether we like it or not. you tube Milton Chiropractic Clinic Cambridge …. you tube Do-It-Yourself Joint Pain Relief: It’s As Easy As 1-2-3 with Gary Crowley.
If only I could have an understanding of people. Do you have a basic understanding, generally, of people? That might mean that you are tolerant, polite, accepting and generally able to have a reasonable time with others? Maybe I have a disability and my neighbour has a disability? Things happen because they were meant to be? If it is painful acquaintance that you are experiencing with another then, that is too bad and I am sorry. Do you have beautiful behaviour but not beautiful looks? I saw on the computer that the new style eye glasses are supposed to be like a boyfriend imitation. They look dominant on the face. Heavy looking but the glasses are light weight. I did not provoke my neighbour but he called me a nerd. My glasses are a couple of years old and I mostly wear my old ones since I remember what he said. I found raw meat trays in a plastic bag in my back yard today. Why does my neighbour throw food garbage my way? I stopped talking to him on March 6, 2020 when he drove his car fast at our car and then slammed on his brakes. Is he just having a laugh with his friends and getting some attention? Why does he tip my yard work onto the road? He dragged a bag of yard work across the road. He is very against me. Is it generation gap rebellion? My frustration level and calm level are sky high. I can’t talk to my neighbour because he upset me so much. He never admits to anything. I can not stand him. If I were to talk to him, I would want the Police to be present also since I am afraid I would yell and swear at him. That is bad behaviour and setting a bad example to others. Remember, I have sat in a hair styling chair and felt very upset and so did not talk and paid but they did not even change the shape on my hair. I lost more money there. I just got my hair shaved right off on St. Patrick’s Day and it has grown a lot since. you tube one tin soldier rides away … it is a painful acquaintance. I hope you are having better relations with your surroundings. If people do not like me, it just means to me that they do not like my brain. I must not like my neighbours brain. I do not have the ???to begin to understand why he does what he does. He has turned a lot of people against me and even the yard work pick up people did not take my yard work once because my neighbour was so busy informing them of me. If he is mistaken somewhat then I am mistaken somewhat and we are not perfect. Yes, we are two peas in a pod and we probably do not have self acceptance. If I could accept myself then I could accept my neighbour in particular. You see, I do not usually have this painful a time with others. I am always alone actually. I am never around people. I don’t have practice being with people. I have not got experience talking to people. This has been going on for decades. I am almost 60. 59 first. It is not acceptable (bad behaviour choice) to yell and swear at this guy. Why does he do things to me on purpose/ Bored? Not busy enough? Unhappy? Unappreciative? Does not know better? Disabled in some way/ He knows it is safe to do things to me since he knows I will not do thing back like when he put brown gunk on my mailbox door. He is just number 5, one door over from me. I did not put brown gunk on his mailbox door. That would be a bad behaviour choice. Why add fuel to the fire? He is my reflection. We do not like ourselves must be the answer and this is painful. I do not want to be anywhere near him. Emotionally generous … that is the P.M. So well mannered and polite and accepting. Great neighbour. No one can be perfect and we need to try to see the good and ignore the negative?
http://www.torticollis.org/ … Mix in a separate bowl: 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour, 2 tsp. baking soda, 2 tsp. ground ginger, 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. ground cloves … Done. Fill a 1/4 cup measuring cup with the cookie dough. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 17 minutes. Remember to treat other people the way you want to be treated. All people are obviously human beings with feelings. Are you out to punish people and send out bad vibrations? What comes around can go around. Are people really as bad as others makes then sound? The person relating all the bad news is accurate? Have they made mistakes? The person talking to you and making you feel special/ needed? like you are a friend? happen to have been born with a brain that the Higher Power made into a more talkative type since some people are hesitant and fearful of others. Timid, quiet people who manage to live enough decades may find their voice and learn how to speak so others can hear them. If we don’t send out good vibrations we may be setting the stage for trouble. Forgive and forget and as we get older, forget and forgive.
Years back, I remember the posters at the school. Zero tolerance towards violence. Violence is always wrong. Pointing a finger at yourself might not be so rude. Pointing anything at others will suggest that we have not learned the niceties yet. We might be pointing an imaginary finger at others when we talk about their mistakes behind their back. I did not realize how easy it is to talk about other’s mistakes and not my own. Each of us has to live with self and our self talk each and every day and night. We can really know what our conscience is saying to self when it can rule freely and is not influenced by chemicals. Steve, you do sound hopeful that we can all learn the niceties sooner rather than later … just “not quite yet.”
If something makes me sound bad, that spreads. Whether I did do something or not, I am not believed. The Higher Power and Mother Nature will guide us all. Yes, I did not speak up when the cashier gave me $10. instead of $4. earlier this year. I know this spread across the village. What did not spread across the village is that I more than returned the money and then some since I put into an envelope $10. with a note. It was very unexpected and sudden and the cashier was pretty much out of sight in no time before I could really ask her to check the ticket again – which did not occur to me at the time. I did the correct thing by fixing the situation and giving back the money and then some to the drug store. It is now a few months later and the 6/49 Super Draw is this Saturday, May 8 and if I thought I would win I would buy a ticket. I don’t think I will win and I wasted $4. Desperate people do desperate things like waste money that isn’t even theirs to begin with on gambling. I seem to have enough health problems to keep me unemployed. I hope you have a happy time and common sense will stop you from losing too much of your money in all kinds of situations in life.
My receipt from Lens Mill says final sale. My Husband paid for 8 skeins of yarn for me. I know this is not an outstanding talent. Many people can knit and they can also knit much more complicated items. I have had cervical dystonia since I was 50 years and now I am almost 58 1/2 and I can’t get it fixed. It is a very tiring condition. Constantly, my neck is pulled to the left against my will. I really don’t know what I can do. I get very tired. It is a medical health condition. I am not on disability for any problems. I just thought I would knit dish cloths and share them with my neighbours around my dog route. This yarn may be discontinued since the receipt was stamped as a final sale. My finger is sore from being jabbed from the knitting needle. Anyway, if you don’t really want the dish cloth for whatever reason, I am sorry. I have a very quiet brain. I like the vehicle commercial where the people are knitting in the back seat. Quiet vehicle. Quiet activity. Possibilities do seem limited with a twisted head from the dystonia. I was just trying to be useful? I was just trying to make something useful? I know it is not as amazing as ??? my Husband working at Baxter Pharmaceutical for 35 years. They were a free sample. Love from Sugar the dog. Luckily, I can’t get to the yarn store since it was my Husband who drove me there. Thank you for taking the dish cloth and I hope I was not too much trouble for people. Thank you, Steve.
When the drug store spread gossip about me did they let people know that the cashier did not give me back my scratch ticket and she did not give me the receipt from the lotto center? It was a very fast transaction.
My pen pal, Christine told me that the 100% cotton dish cloth can be used as a hot pad. Yarn stores are not considered an essential service so they are closed for now. The next thing I hope to give my neighbours is a Christmas card and that is supposed to be on December 17, 2021. I am not a speed knitter. The dish cloths are put on hold for a couple of years. I fall asleep knitting, reading, watching the t.v. and the computer. I am really tired from my health problems and no one seems to know how to fix cervical dystonia. The muscles tighten and the heads twists. Try not to get it taking drugs since I seem to be stuck with the condition. Remember, when we increase seritonin we decrease dopamine. Old is old. I need a lot of time …. awake.
I am sorry I took it personally that I was given change that was not freshly cleaned, so to speak. I am sure the banker did not even notice the sticky fluff etc. Remember that movement is medicine and that could be one chance at happiness. At Walmart, the Great Value bags of spice has cream of tartar that is economical. 3 bags for $5. It is very hard to have health problems and the virus is too much. How can we be happy? The truth is my dish cloths were never that great. I just bought sponges to do my dishes at Liquidators. They were so nice there. Vulnerable spot. When I sit in the chair … electric chair? to get my hair done and they give me funny looks and laugh at me and ignore what I ask on how I want the cut, I feel very upset. B U T … I shut right down communication style since I can’t yell at them. … and I lose my money.
you tube What causes dystonia? My story ….. Mandy Cutshall Hear no evil. See no evil. Speak no evil. I know for sure my husband is not a big talker and a big gossip. I do feel sorry for people who gossip. Unhappy people? I know my neighbour called me names and I do feel uncomfortable with my new glasses since the word … nerd … is kind of embarrassing. I think he is unhappy to call me names. Life can be so unexpected and short. Live in the now and be thankful? I guess? the priest appreciated my amazement at his 7 university degree. I know my Dad appreciated a great education and felt it was one of the answers to a hopeful life. How can we pay otherwise? I told the priest he could get his education for me. He will benefit, though. I am so thankful to Steve for letting people know that each brain has a certain map to follow. Opposites. I was over amazed by the priest and he was under amazed by me. At the bank yesterday, the woman gave me a fuzzy blackened quarter, a black gum stained dime, and a swirly looking loonie. Thank you. It is still spendable. The worst thing that can happen if someone gives away something that is less than perfect is the customer will lose their money. The winter boots I bought used get puddles in them and I get pain from wearing them. I think the situation was unintentional. Why not see if an item can acquire new enthusiasm from another and even take on new life? I know I gave the priest family …. tons …. dollar store items, yes, but also Bradford Exchange … I also shovelled his driveway for years … over a decade for free … when I volunteered the money went to the Catholic Church Building Fund. Do you know what he has been doing to me all along? Spreading gossip about me from his point of view. He is taking his anger out on me. I am his scapegoat. … okay spacegoat …. He has drank too much alcohol. He has not seen me in years … 4? …His Mother thought the world of him. I am sure he got along with the other females in his family. Why would bankers spread gossip about me? Are you not happy people also? Who is happy? My husband is far from a gossip. He has told me that he does not even think it is necessary to talk. He is neurotypical. I could not be more thankful for him. He is headed to a jail that has recently had an outbreak of the virus. Maybe we are never going to see him again. You can be reassured that it is not a sympathetic world. I have not experienced this world as sympathetic. Way with people? Not me. I am hesitant. My husband has a way with animals. See you Steve … and thank you for explaining to us webbers that we can still try but we have challenges … socially ….
Why is the computer the center of the universe? Indirect and like a breeze that just passed by you, uncommitted? My husband does all the complicated cooking and the complicated jobs around here. The snow will disappear and the taxes will be due. My husband also vacuums, dusts, organizes, and shovels the heavy snow. My husband seems to be the only person around here who knows how to earn money. This money does not come easily where they make hospital supplies. My husband was the relater of my children. Where was I ? I think I focused on social situations like being gossiped about mostly. Maybe that is partly why the boy is on pills. A maximum does gives tremors. Take all the action you can and let the Higher Power do the rest? I think I showed no common sense when we were delivering the newspaper and the truck was plowing out the driveway. I sent my little boy to deliver to that house. My boy told me he was missed by just so much. Maybe the police should charge me with having no common sense and/or attempted murder. I hope my kids outlive me and I am sure all parents feel that way. I am sure it feels like defeat if the reverse happens. We hope our children do get to give life a try. So the boy has honours at university and he drives. google Health Canada job board. He says he has social anxiety so he takes a pill and sleeps all day and is on the computer games all night. A little boy’s heart belongs to his mother. Maybe people are not as bad as people make them sound and/or as good you think they are … especially if … sure, accuse me of trying to get attention here … I was not a perfect parent and the people just try their best.
We can get free confidence by doing just a little exercise each day. Ten toe touches, ten sit-ups etc. Awareness of how calm you are now might indicate your health and happiness at the moment. Being able to navigate the social landscape/plain may take practice but some people are born with the ability more than others. If people like your social ability/brain you will be popular. If only we could accept our social inability/difference. We see others that are so easy with social ability. They seem so popular.
I have always liked Canada Post – all the employees and all their merchandise. Who does not want something delivered to them. I have sent my knitting across the Atlantic Ocean to show an example of what I could accomplish. That was a good few years back. I do admire knitting and it can be seen as amazing. The Catholic Church has stated in the past that the married person is to give all attention to their spouse and not really to anyone else or anything else. Who do you give your undivided attention to usually? I like all people with a Canada Post like job position. I just don’t deliver the newspaper myself since my movement disorder slows me down a lot. I also appear to be gossiping about my neighbour who thinks I like her husband. I just feel sorry for the underdog. I have always been like that. It is okay to feel insecure about yourself. Are we admired for our amazing job position? Even if my knitting was amazing, it is still just knitting. What a sad knitting story. Maybe I was just being too imaginative thinking my dish cloths that are made with Red Heart sparkly yarn finally hit gold. I really believe in practice and experience. The seasoned ??? teacher etc. I can’t begin to crochet. My neighbour just seemed against the first wife and I am a panicker. I really want to keep my first wife position if I can since I am overly sensitive … especially when it comes to in-law types. I am suggesting that autistic people, like myself, are not calm enough to be married and feel very rejected and are just too sensitive. I really can cause a lot of unintentional trouble. I just want Canada Post and all delivery people to know that I am madly in love with you since you do such an amazing and fun job … and I wish it was me too. I hope you liked my crafts, Steve. Thank you for viewing them.
They say men are very visual. That might not be totally true. Who does not like to eat healthy food from scratch? How can we avoid living in constant pain as we age? Preservatives in food may add to our body pain. Pain is stressful and tiring. You never know … some people have the laser eye medical procedure and end up with nerve damage. I know my neighbour in my old neighbourhood passed away from painkillers. She did eat garden vegetables and food from scratch but the decades added up and she was 93. Try not to feel badly if you have been on drugs. She was never on drugs and her brain never seemed to age. I enjoyed her phone calls. She did not phone too often or talk too long but we knew each other and it was a happy time. A cotton dish cloth? or is it a mini hand dryer? or can you attach it to the bottom of your boot with elastics so you won’t slip on the ice and snow? … When I lay down on the bed to knit my head still wants to twist … but if I read it will not twist. The dish cloth pattern is from Vickie from Sears.
Yes absolutely, I still mourn my friends I lost as a child (they were tossed or given away without my permission and some I just had to leave behind). I am writing this with a plush polar bear and a black cat and they are watchign the screen (I am a working functioning adult 🙂 but yes, on the spectrum). Am glad to see this thread of comments. Since I was small I was yelled at for treating imaginary friends, toys, objects (ie. even a stamp) as alive.
Hi Eli Would you say that your attachments to objects are sad in nature? Mine are. Somehow, perhaps as people with autism, we place emotion on objects rather than people?
Hi, partner of a 27 year old female diagnosed as Aspie last year. She has had episodes of obsessive thought patterns around her surroundings and her family, presenting as extreme anxiety. Last year and this it seems to have developed into something similar to ROCD, variant 2. Currently having CBT, but this seems to be having less effectiveness as past 2 episodes. Has anyone or yourself completed ERP, Exposure and Reaction Prevention as a solution?
I have had CBT and exposure therapy for OCD. This was at the Maudsley hospital in London, but neither therapies worked for me. Therapy has never quite got to the core of the problem. I need something that reaches deep down and really grasps the problem at its core. Having said that, the therapies you’ve mentioned have worked for many people. Regards Steve
I personally can’t imagine myself not having autism – much like you wouldn’t be able to understand what it would be like to not be British. Autism has been with me for my entire life, and it’s what makes me the person I am. I relate to a lot of the things in the Timothy Blossom book you wrote (although I tend to understand jokes immediately) and I am proud it has won you an award. Lest we forget that Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton were both autistic, as are a lot of celebrities such as Dan Aykroyd from the original Ghostbusters and environmentalist Greta Thunberg, who I take a large amount of inspiration from.
One thing that autistic people like me tend to enjoy are nice children’s party and old-time Cbeebies vibes, It’s a little hard to explain these, but if you go on my Twitter account and look at the pinned tweet, it shows these vibes for you to observe yourself. I unfortunately can’t post any links, but if you would like to follow me, my Twitter account is @EddieBa95442882. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Autistic people like me tend to have persistent leg movements, either deliberately to relax themselves or inadvertently when they aren’t thinking about it. The road ahead, I feel, is hard, and I did tend to get bullied by other people, but we all must continue.

Steve, congratulations on publishing another book. It looks really interesting . Were the parents able to understand their boy? If the story takes place in the present and the parents are up-to-date with autism knowledge because they have a computer, then maybe the child is not so criticized but understood.
Hi Thanks. In the book, Timothy Blossom’s mum is more understanding at first. She has more natural empathy, and she has also taken time to investigate what autism is. Timothy’s dad is more focussed on work and not so touchy-feely. He prefers to just get on with things and doesn’t get so emotionally involved with Timothy’s difficulties. Regards Steve

I have two prescriptions for antidepressants right now. I asked for them because I was trying to not eat quinoa so much. I need to eat 1/4 cup a day to help keep worry/anxiety away but maybe it is also bad for you. I did stop including the turmeric and pepper unless it is an emergency because it can make it hard to swallow if your digestive track is damaged from it. Steve, the Police were here today and my life is forever changed. The low serotonin and how constructively/destructively we managed coping with it is the problem. Steve, what do I find attractive? That cashier guy managing so well … all those customers. He is amazing. On the job guy is interesting. The job can help to make the man and/or woman. Too much brain chemistry challenge here, Steve. I have tried to reduce quinoa and/or not eat it enough and I can have too much wind in my sails? …. not begin to be calm enough? … I apologize to everyone in this town and the Medical Profession since …. everyone has been nice.
Drugs change our brain and assume for the worst, permanently. Our biggest troubles begin when we take the drug for the so called problem …. that feels so overwhelming. Swallowing a pill that is prescribed by the Doc is opening the door to being laughed at and gossiped about for decades to come and go. ….. even the Medical Profession laughed at me and gossiped about me after they worked their wonders ….. the Psychriatrists asked/accused me of being high … only because I was on too much of his first generation Prozac to begin with …. scrambled eggs … scrambled brains ….. so the old neighbours ( 2 women who have lived here forever and are from the school yard ) spread gossip about me to the new neighbours about sexual scandal that happened 27 years ago. I know my new neighbour is a really good person ( loose Boxer person ) because he told me that if he would have known “that” … as in sex mistake … he would never have moved in beside me. I never laugh at people on the news on television. I know that there are disadvantages with brain chemistry there. There is hurt and pain. Looking for an escape that is immediate? I just heard from the Doc on t.v. who tries to help people that opiod drugs change your brain after just three times taking it. The person can no longer say … no. …. is what I understood …. People do not understand that people are who they are because of their brain. What can your brain do for you? What have you done to your brain? … I have grown children who were overwhelmed by just feeling left out socially from the way their brain operates (biology). Socially inhibited. Very lonely. And I can feel jealous and if my Husband was over there at the neighbours getting an ear full of gossip, I would feel sad. I have the type of brain that feels bad and sad for others and sorry for them. Not everyone feels sympathy for others. Dark brown hair, blond hair … those power ponytails are not so kind.
How does low serotonin level affect person? I felt like I did not belong and/or feel accepted/liked. Yes, there also is kind, unkind, and no relating face to face and behind your back that can contribute to feeling rejected. Maybe some people make others sound bad for entertainment purposes. I try to accept gossip as part of life and that it is constructive criticism. Low serotonin = tension/stress/held tight and that makes us not take social risks like talking to others. Just not calm enough, don’t feel well enough to relate/interact with others. Steve, when I am nervous, it is impossible for me to hear myself think. Identifying a situation that is potentially risky is helpful. I understand that people are made the way they are and that challenges are either born on that amazing day or acquired and …. getting a hold of oneself and not feeling well is not so nice …. but I have leaned I am still better off without Doctor’s drugs. Yes, Doctors and Pharmacists are smarter than me and I acknowledge that amazing accomplishment.
I wish Britain would have a Government that understands how People outside their own little Bubble live this Tory Government’s cutting of the NHS is a disgrace
I just tried to get a referral from my GP but instead was handed a badly photocopied leaflet for a support group at my church and told “Speak to them. They might be able to teach you how to act normal.”
About me: I am awaiting my assessment having self-referred, then had one phone interview and a face to face meeting. I am 36. I felt suspicious a few years ago, then had a nervous/mental breakdown after my mum had died and I had to move out of her house. My quirks have become a loot more apparent since then & I decided to find out once and for all.
My query: I am wondering if you & any of your readers/subscribers/fans have experience of death & grieving – I have a fabulous book about this by Deborah Lipsky, but recently have an idea playing on my mind that if I get 2 pet mice and name them after my parents (though I cannot look at pictures of my parents or have their possessions around me) that I will somehow be more at peace about them being dead. I do have a rabbit named after my dad (well sort of, not deliberately – he’s Peter Rabbit, my Dad was/is Peter) and talking to him, saying his name comforts me, and I think that is how the idea arose, Is REPLACEMENT or DISPLACEMENT/TRANSFERRENCE(?) in any form but also grief, an Autistic trait? (Interestingly, (I feel anyway, maybe it’ll interest you too?) that despite being with her when she ‘passed’ I did not understand or make sense of Mum’s death & her leaving me, until I went back to the house 11 months later & saw it overgrown – the penny dropped that it was no longer hers or my home & that she was gone.)
Hello, Steve. My name is Martin Nguyen. I live in the United States of America, I live in Irvine, California, and I am diagnosed with autism. I know what it’s like to be diagnosed with autism. I remember that I had no social contact with kids my age while growing up, I hated loud noise when I was a kid, I was bullied, I had no friends, I remember imagining things in my mind, I had a difficult time paying attention to the teachers at school, I always talk to myself, the only friend I made is my dog Sunny, and I am not good with computers at all. I also do not have a girlfriend even though I want one so badly. I can relate to you deeply. I am still diagnosed with autism and what you wrote is correct; there is no cure for autism and we have to live with it.
I still live with my Dad and my stepmother. My real mother passed away at age 53 in 2009. I got a job at the animal hospital yet I get financial support from social security.
Thankyou for getting back to me on twitter to contact you here. I had asked if you knew any adults with autism who have experienced family courts, for my research. Did you think you might be able to help? or maybe someone using your website?
Dear Steve, thanks for your video on youtube for Adults with High Functioning Autism. My husband has this but has not been diagnosed as yet. I am watching different videos on the subject to help me understand what my husband is going through. He is 62 years old so that will tell you that education on autism was very scarce when he was a child. His parents never knew what was wrong with him which makes me very sad. I think this website and your other videos will help us both very much. Thanks again.
Hi Gail It’s great that you are doing your best to find out about autism so you can understand your husband. Not every spouse or partner is sympathetic. I wish you and your husband well.
I am a 44 years old woman and I am suspecting that I have Asperger’s.
All my life I have had some form of difficulty in communication and maintaining relationships/friendships. This has been highlighted more since starting a Mental Health Nursing degree. I’m currently in the 3rd year and as the classes are becoming more interactive, I am becoming more withdrawn. What i have been trying to hide of myself is becoming more apparent.
I started researching Asperger’s syndrome back in the spring when a friend said that she thought my son, who is 9, may have it. I haven’t taken him for a formal diagnosis as yet, but the more I read about it, the more I thought this was me. I also think my Dad had Asperger’s too. Previously I had thought that maybe all my life I had suffered with selective mutism but I’m not sure. Maybe I have both. So I’m a little confused and think that a non clinical assessment could be a way forward. I think i have learnt to ‘mask’ myself very well over the years, but I’m tired now and need to reach out. When I have taken the AQ test, it changes a little on my mood and how I view myself, but I always get a score over 32, from 34 to 42. Anyway I just thought I would reach out. Really enjoyed your videos by the way.
Hi there I am a 34 year old female who has just been diagnosed with aspergurs, I’ve known for a while as have a 10 year old daughter and see traits of me in her. Kinda relieved and confused at the same time as now feel the real journey begins to learn who I am pleas help me Louise
Hello there Steve – this is a sensible comment for a change! Just to say I very much appreciate your Youtube videos, and what I’ve seen so far on this website. It’s great that you’re doing what you’re doing, ie: going out of your way to offer encouragement, advice and understanding to people with ASDs. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s about 3 months ago, age 55. It explains such a lot about my life and why it has felt so difficult.
I have spent a lot of time between the ages of about 7 and, well, now I suppose, thinking I’m just lazy or a bit useless etc. But as it turns out, I’ve been doing very well considering!
I hope it will be possible to corrrespond now and again, maybe off this public forum which seems to have become populated with highly irrelevant nonsense (sorry to offend anyone who’s published comment in all sincerity, it’s just that they make no sense to me, and don;t have anything to do with autism, with a few exceptions).
I am a detective at Islington Police station where you kindly gave a talk arranged by ADS Brown. I am dealing with a case which I would like to get your feedback on.

Remember? oops

hi and how are you ... as far as I know says
This was on page 14 a long time ago. “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” … The progress of the river to the ocean is not so rapid as that of man to error. … I did not want another dog. good for you says
Trans fats are harmful to the body and are in baked goods, fried food, snack food, margarine and ready-to-use frosting .Making unhealthy food choices over and over can lead to health problems.

painkillers says

Years back, I remember the posters at the school. Zero tolerance towards violence. Violence is always wrong. Pointing a finger at yourself might not be so rude. Pointing anything at others will suggest that we have not learned the niceties yet. We might be pointing an imaginary finger at others when we talk about their mistakes behind their back. I did not realize how easy it is to talk about other’s mistakes and not my own. Each of us has to live with self and our self talk each and every day and night. We can really know what our conscience is saying to self when it can rule freely and is not influenced by chemicals.

Steve- adults with autism says
Hi Eli
Would you say that your attachments to objects are sad in nature?

Thanks
Steve- adults with autism says
Hi John
I have had CBT and exposure therapy for OCD. This was at the Maudsley hospital in London, but neither therapies worked for me. Therapy has never quite got to the core of the problem. I need something that reaches deep down and really grasps the problem at its core.
Having said that, the therapies you’ve mentioned have worked for many people.

Steve- adults with autism says
Hi
Thanks.

Hi Gail
It’s great that you are doing your best to find out about autism so you can understand your husband. Not every spouse or partner is sympathetic.
I wish you and your husband well.

Hi Steve,
I am a 44 years old woman and I am suspecting that I have Asperger’s.
Best wishes,

Hope to communicate again soon, cheers, Jona
